1905 Napier 90 HP carFebruary, 1960 – The man behind the wheel is Arthur MacDonald, a pioneer in auto racing. Driving this 90 h.p. six-cylinder Napier, MacDonald captured the world’s speed record at Ormond beach in America. The year was 1905. MacDonald was clocked at 108.4 miles per hour.

When this record was established, D. Ackland had already been serving Western Canadians for 16 years. Now after 70 years, they still carry on the tradition of service, dependability and fair dealing.
